I had the opportunity to document Southern California surfboard-shaping legend Ryan Lovelace at work in his new shaping room in Santa Barbara, California. Ryan has been shaping boards since he was a teenager, is an incredibly talented craftsman, and accordingly is well-respected in the shaping community.
